VOLUNTARY “TEACHER CHANG” SELECTION AND TRAINING
GOAL
 
  1. To offer perspective “Teacher Chang” volunteers preliminary training.
  2. To enhance and promote the ideas, concepts and models of guidance and counseling for people in the community.
  3. To increase personal understanding, self-exploration, and further to facilitate self-growth.


TRAINING MODELS
 

Problem-solving approach in counseling or other compatible models.

 

QUALIFICATION
 

Perspective volunteer trainees who acquire one of the followings and commit to serve at least one year after the completion of training courses are welcome.

1. Vocational school (including open schools) graduates with one year of working experience.

2. University (including open universities) graduates or graduate students.

3. Current college (including technical schools) student (sophomore or higher)

4. Students of open universities who have completed at least 80 credits.


TRAINING STAGES AND HOURS
 

There are three stages of training with a total of 200-hour courses.

 

TRAINGING METHODS
 

1. Lectures on specific topics.
2. Training group.
3. Personal growth group.
4. Assignments and reports.
5. Other methods.


SELECTION AND ASSESSMENT
 
  1. To ensure the quality of training, all trainees will be screened at the end of each stage. They may enter the next stage after passing the evaluation.

    Aspects of Evaluation:
    -Enthusiasm for learning (attendance and punctuality).
    -Comprehensive examination.
    -Oral examination.
    -Completion of assignments and reports-Performance within groups.
